Specification Summary
- Material: stainless steel with zinc plated worm gear.
- Length ‘A’: to be specified; standard lengths are 50 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm, measured from top of adapter to surface of pipe.
- Max. insulation thickness: ‘A’ length minus 15 mm.
- Pipe diameter ‘D’: see ordering code.
- Mounting method: place opened clamp around pipe, stick band-end into worm gear housing and tighten with screwdriver.
- For faster response, the pipe wall can be spot drilled with a 7 mm drill.
- Thermocouple: see datasheet B/500 for types; immersion length ‘A’ to be specified, equal to ‘A’ length of adapter.
